Backyard Beybees is rooted in biophilic design, a green building approach that connects the built environment to nature through natural materials, spatial design, and connections to the sensory elements of the outdoors.

Just as nature evolves and changes with time, so does our living, working interactive classroom space. The flexible indoor-outdoor Studio Lab gives children the opportunity for sensory-driven, hands-on nature experiences.

Designed to be flexible, open, and welcoming, our workspace includes areas for conversation, collaboration, and concentration. The workspace is flooded with natural light, features a living wall and hanging plants, and offers amenities for convenience.

How It All Started…
Backyard Beybees is the place I’ve been searching for ever since I became a parent. It’s where children can experience nature with all their senses and learn at their own pace. It’s where the outdoors is welcomed into our built space with thoughtful design elements and environmental consciousness. And it’s where busy parents like you can carve out time and space to focus, work, or just relax without guilt, knowing your child is learning and growing.
Whether you’re an adult or a child, life is a series of stepping stones. Each stage leads to the next, and as you follow your path, you find your purpose. Backyard Beybees is mine. In shaping what it becomes, I’ve brought together my parenting passions and professional design expertise to create a unique space parents and children will love.
Here, we focus on the harmony of child, adult, and environment, combining them to create a place of joy, empowerment, and independence where you’ll each be happy—and better together because of it.
